Spokane Public School & City Officials Broke Ground for New Spokane Middle School, Library

On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, SPS and City officials broke ground to the new Shaw Middle School campus that will include the Hillyard Library and OnTrack Academy.

This joint project between the city and school officials aims for a campus structure that innovatively incorporates the Hillard Library, OnTrack Academy, and Shaw Middle School.

The nearly 500 million dollar bond passed in 2018 includes three new middle schools, three new middle school renovations, and a new Hillyard Library in addition to renovations to a few existing libraries.
